MSc Programs:
National and international students seeking admission to the MSc programs need to satisfy the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree degree in Agriculture, Meteorology, Health, Water Resources, Hydrology, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, Economics and other related disciplines from a fully accredited institution of higher learning with a CGPA of 2.5 on undergraduate work for local students and equivalent grading scale for international students,
- Support letter from their employers and two additional letters of recommendation, which demonstrate the competences of the candidate for undertaking advanced degree studies
- Letter of sponsorship attestation.
- Pass mark of the National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) for national students
- English language proficiency certificate or equivalent for international students

PhD Programs:
Applicants should fulfil the required documents and must also pass the entrance exam in order to advance for the PhD degree candidacy under the institute of climate and society. Specifically, applicants can apply for admission if they have the following documents:
- MSc / M.A Degree in Agriculture, climate science, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics and other related fields from accredited universities, institutions or colleges (For PhD in Climate and Food Systems).
- MSc./M.A Degree in Forestry, Agro-forestry, climate science, natural sciences and other related fields from accredited universities, institutions or colleges ( For PhD in Climate and Forest Resources ).
- MSc./M.A Degree in Meteorology (Agro-meteorology, Hydro-meteorology), climate science, physics, atmospheric science, natural sciences and other related fields from accredited universities, institutions or colleges ( For PhD in Meteorology and Climate Science ).
- Support letter from their employer organizations if they are employed.
- Two letters of recommendation that shows academic performance and research capabilities of the applicants
- Financial attestation for covering the full research costs and tuition fees
- Synopsis of the doctoral research proposal not more than five pages
- Pass mark of the National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) for national students
- English language proficiency certificate or equivalent for international students
Applicants who have all the required documents are eligible for examination (oral and written exams) and are also required to present a seminar of previous master thesis or any research outputs.
